The international, comparative and multidisciplinary research project „Sharia Debates and Their Perception by Christians and Muslims in Selected African Countries“ is located at the University of Bayreuth and funded by Volkswagen Foundation. It is part of the Funding Initiative: Knowledge for Tomorrow – Co-operative Research Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
